I can see that its a great place to work, however i personally believe that bunnings workers should get paid more in order to live up to expectations that are sold to the general public through there fabricated advertising campaign. If you pay workers more they would then hopefully provide a better level of service, knowing full well that its a more saught after position, rather than being completely expendable which is currently the case. QUALIFIED workers are worth far more in a trade.

If given the choice, I would much rather take a slighly smaller pay packet in exchange for a flexible employer, and an environment which makes me happy to get up and go to work. My local Bunnings is FULL of qualified team members, so I don’t know where you shop! If you offered me a higher paying office job with a bunch of suits, I would turn you down immediately. The service has not gone downhill, unfortunately the customers have, though. If you don’t like Bunnings don’t shop there.

What the hell would you know! Bunnings is one of the more stable employers around at the moment, yeah, the pay is not tops, but I am not going to loose my job anytime soon. I love working for Bunnings, they f@*king rock! They look after me mate!!! Obviously you were a reject!!! Hahahaha!

I find it funny how Bunnings preach that they have great service from qualified people, yet the reality is that the pay is so rubbish that qualified people stear clear of working there. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys, and thats why the service has gone down hill, and will continue to go downhill. The general culture is avoid customers because the pay is rubbish and you don’t get commission for selling extra,

Bunnings is a stereotypical top heavy business. Its uper level management earn huge sums of money whilst the workers who do 95% of the work get paid a poor rip off wage. The company makes huge profits per year and upper level management make huge wages per year. The average floor worker however gets paid peanuts. Theyre just lining there pockets whilst they sift through a never ending line of people who simply need a job. ITs not about wanting to work for bunnings its about needing work!

You clearly have no idea. … We have the traders worked in the shops and not be removed or disabled as you put nice labels! in our shop only electricians, carpenters, a manufacturer of flat t, roofers, etc., all under 45. to choose a better lifestyle working for themselves. Answer as "toi" AS IS. …. do. "We would like our people more, but you are willing to pay to pay more for their goods? didn 't think so. Our team gets more than just a pay packet. know and love him.

bunnnings are one of the highest paying retail market. . . . . I remember the skilled workers who work for us? We Do not twist anyones arm to work for us. We have hundreds of experts and experienced team members. a higher service? Known as Kmart. . . or W big favor! prove to offer a great service to the problem is the expectations of the customers we have established a standard and want more. nrdcskb as I said, if you do not what we may shut, up and shop elsewhere!

ok, so you would know then that the 2 men in the very ” top jobs” have been running this 100% australian owned company for the the entire 20 or so years and they give the “unfairly paid workers” $1000 bonuses each year, 300 fully owned shares yearly, gift vouchers, xmas gifts, free lunches every month, xmas family nights etc,ect. . . . . shall I go on? you have NO idea how this fantastic company runs or values their team. the company does makes good profits. . . isn’t that the idea???
