So how do you find out how to make money online? Whether you want to be a full fledged freelancer or a just want to earn a few bucks as a part time job, you definitely need to do some research before you start (and that means NOT handing in your resignation letter just yet!). And what better way to start than perusing the Internet for good “make money online” blogs?

In my opinion, the only blogs that are worth reading are those that genuinely WANT their readers to succeed in earning a living off the Internet. I’m talking about blogs like http://moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com/, a blog started by my friend Alan Liew. I didn’t even know he had a make money online type of blog until I saw him talking about it in a popular online forum. I went, “WHAT? You have one of THOSE blogs now eh, Alan?” Initially I thought it was just another run-of-the-mill blog but I was too quick to judge. His blog has nice juicy details on how to make money online, and more. Those who want to monetize their blogs can find out how best to do it via his blog.

Don’t just take my word for it just because he’s my friend — check out the blog and bookmark it pronto! Note; Alan’s blog been around since 2006 even before I started blogging myself so be sure to go waaaay back for some informative posts!

1. Take the bus
I like taking buses and trains, and instead of driving, you can just sit back and relax, and enjoy the view. There’s also something rather appealing about people watching – imagine what the lady with her set of noisy twin sons is thinking about, or what ails the man in the wrinkled sports coat sitting in the corner. Take along your iPod or MP3 player and enjoy the ride!

2. Ride your bike
When’s the last time you felt the pleasing breeze in your hair? You don’t have to sit in a Corvette with the top down to experience this. Just ride a bicycle and you’ll definitely enjoy seeing the world whizz by. This is great for the environment too, because unlike cars, bicycles do not emit noxious gasses that pollute the surroundings, and neither do they make awful vrooming sounds too.

3. Walk, walk, walk!
And walk some more Walking is good for your body, and I enjoy taking daily walks with my toddler who has just begun to discover the true pleasures of walking. There’s no reason to be jaded with walking – put yourself in the shoes of a baby who’s just learning to walk and you’ll see the finer points in walking.

Recently I discovered a new place to hang out at FuelEfficiency.org. The site looks very delightful, very no-frills and not overly ambitious. Most importantly, I foresee this site to be a good source of information once more people see how useful it can be.
